The Community Groups Programme works with both mother and child in recovery from domestic abuse. It is a 12-week programme that addresses self-blame, abuse, safety planning and emotional regulation. It is for children from 4-16. This is a child focused piece of work



The community groups programme is delivered over 12 weeks and each session lasts 2 hours.

The programme can be delivered as a group or on a 1-1 basis.

I have trained 60 practitioners trained in Lewisham. Including Police Officers, FSW, Therapists, Housing Officers, Youth Offending Officers, Social Workers and Health Professionals

Successful in being part of partnership with local service to receive Home Office CADA (Children Affected by Domestic Abuse) funding in 2018, which has been extended for a further year.
